The PleasureBound Tera Patrick Collection Eye Mask from California Exotic Novelties is a deep red rubber eye mask. Tera Patrick looks hot modeling it on the cover of the box. Here is what the box copy says: Comfortable, durable, adjustable, superior quality rubber eye mask for teasing and play!

Is is comfortable? Well, yes and no. It is a nice smooth, flexible rubber that does feel nice against the skin. Also, it has well-made, wide straps that do not pull or break the hair. Unfortunately, the blindfold is cut too wide across the bottom—so unless (and this is why I only rated this product two and a half stars) you tighten it up to the point that it’s cutting way into your face, you can still see plenty of light.

Now, if you like the discomfort of a very tight rubber eye mask binding across your face, maybe you’ll dig the experience. I, however, do not think that a product billed as "comfortable" should involve discomfort in delivering the expected experience: depriving the wearer of visual stimuli, including light!

It certainly seems to be durable, as the rubber seems to be of good quality, and the straps are thick and sturdy and nicely riveted. It is adjustable, and easily so.

Who Would Probably Enjoy This: Anyone into rubber—the sight of it, the smell of it, the feel of it.

Who Would Most Likely Want to Avoid This: Anyone turned off by rubber—the sight of it, the smell of it, the feel of it! Anyone who would like a blindfold that cuts off sight without discomfort.

Who Will Definitely Want to Avoid This: Anyone who has a rubber allergy (or even suspects that they might!)
